How Talent Consulting Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information.
Talent Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 29 655 138 453) is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains how we handle personal information.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number, location
- Professional information — your CV, work history, skills, referees, indicative rate and availability
- Security clearance level and status. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, clearance reference numbers or the contents of a vetting file
- Correspondence between us, and records of roles you have been submitted for

- To assess your suitability for roles and to represent you to a client
- To respond to an enquiry you have made
- To meet our obligations under a contract or panel arrangement
- To comply with law
How we use and disclose it
We disclose a candidate's details to a client only with that candidate's agreement, and only in connection with a specific role. We may disclose information to referees you nominate, and to service providers who host our systems on our behalf. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for marketing by others.
Storage and security
Information is held in access-controlled systems and is available only to staff who need it to do their job. Website submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Retention
We keep candidate records for as long as they remain useful for matching you to roles, and for as long as we are required to by law or by a contract. You can ask us to remove your record at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a complaint about how we have handled it, by emailing admin@talentconsult.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future this policy will be updated to say what is collected and how to opt out.
